Quality Inn & Suites Hotel- Muskegon, Michigan
During a recent staycation in West Michigan, we were looking for a hotel that was close to everything AND family-friendly.

We found exactly what we were looking for at the Quality Inn & Suites Hotel, on Sherman Blvd., in Muskegon, MI.

Make Yourself at Home
Upon our arrival, I was greeted by both the manager and the assistant manager. They were very welcoming and took the time to explain everything the hotel offered. Check-in was quick, easy, and we were on our way to our rooms.
Let’s Get Comfy!
We had booked adjoining rooms, both with two queen beds. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and recently redecorated.
Each bed had four pillows, that way each person could find the one that worked for them!
The rooms included a flat-screen TV, work desk, coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. When traveling with children, a refrigerator is a must- have for us. We all know after the kids have spent most of the day in the pool, they’re going to be hungry afterward! Having a refrigerator allows us the option to stock up on drinks, fruits and veggies for snacks, and any other items we may have brought along.
The bathrooms were quite large and stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries, just in case you forgot yours. We’ve all been there!
After a quick tour of the room, my kids were dying to see the pool area, so we made our way down the hallway to get our toes wet.
Life Is Better Pool Side
We were absolutely blown away by their pool and game area! The hotel is “U” shaped and in the middle of the “U” is where all of the fun happens!
Hello, large pool and hot tub!! The pool water was the warmest hotel pool water I have ever felt! My kids could have spent all day in there. Oh wait, they did!
There are plenty of tables and seating next to the pool, along with arcade games if you are not up for swimming.
If one pool wasn’t enough, they also have a pool table and a seasonal outdoor pool.
It Doesn’t End There!
The Quality Inn & Suites Hotel also includes many amenities such as free WiFi, free HOT breakfast, a fitness center, on-site laundry, and a business center. They certainly have thought of everything to help make your travel experience a more enjoyable one.
Quality Inn & Suites in Muskegon, MI, is a 100% smoke free hotel. Check-In is 3 pm, and Check-Out is 11 am. Their convenient location off US-31 N makes it easy to visit destinations such as:

This is wonderful. I like reading about hotels in advance before booking to learn things about the rooms, the fitness center, and wifi. I liked that this hotel has a hot breakfast. That makes a difference when booking a stay.

Muskegon is in a revitalization right now and they are doing amazing things in the city. They have such a great history and its wonderful to see the changes since the last time we visited.

We love when hotels have pools. The kids will also go in. I love that this hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool. The game room area is also really nice. I also think a laundry facility and FREE breakfast is a bonus. Nice find.

My kids LOVE indoor pools and hotels that have arcades, but I’m a “mean mommy” and never let them play the games. 😉 This looks like a great place for families to stay in the Muskegon area.
